In my representation of the future, I imagine an altered relationship with our food. With widespread pollution of our land, growing fruits and vegetables will be impossible. Food will be created in labs and genetically modified, perhaps beyond recognizability. In my works, I scan broccoli and use the technology to warp the food into something that is still broccoli, yet becoming unrecognizable. In these images, technology immortalizes this head of broccoli but is also the source of its decay.
